The paint is fresh, desks are shiny, floors are spotless–that’s a look and feel of our new office!

Just in time for Christmas, National Closing Center has moved to a new office space.

Bright, beautifully laid out and spacious, our new home will definitely make our winter days brighter and more bearable.

We’re back to Chicago…  Home sweet home met us with some seriously chilly weather. In fact, there was more than 50 degree difference between the weather in Dallas and Chicago–107 vs 50!

The good news–we’re back in our office working hard to get approvals for your short sales, developing the second version of our short sale processing platform and, of course, sorting through all the business cards and answering emails.

Thanks to all of you who stopped by our booth in the Five Star Conference in Dallas. Thanks to The Five Star Institute and the beautiful Hilton Anatole Hotel. Thanks for those of you who already visited our website and signed up. We look forward to closing many short sales for you.

If you want to get your company in front of a crowd of targeted leads, you’ve got to pay AND pray that your investment will yield decent returns. More often than not, you’ve got to travel across the country, pay registration fees, book hotels, etc., etc.

But sometimes this targeted crowd is just around the corner. This is what happened to us when we decided (GREAT last minute decision!) to exhibit at NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) Short Sale/REO Summit in Oak Brook Terrace.

I think there’s a shortage of quality networking events for real estate professionals and real estate support businesses here in Chicagoland, so initially I didn’t expect much… And I was wrong! NAHREP Chicago Short Sale/REO Summit was the best local real estate event ever. Great crowd of smart, interested and professional people; wonderful speakers, caring organizers and fun to be around sponsors.

We found some great contacts and got a lot of valuable feedback from our prospective clients. Can’t ask for more!

CONGRATULATIONS to an iPad 2 winner, Natalie Janiec Sumara! Ms. Sumara is a Broker/Owner at The Sands Company with offices in Anaheim and Glendora. She is the lucky winner of an iPad drawing at REOMAC Spring Summit in Palm Springs, CA, courtesy of National Closing Center.

We asked our booth-neighbor to help us out with the drawing, so it all goes smoothly and looks legit. We even considered hiring a professional auctioneer who so elegantly carried out the REOMAC auction to conduct the drawing, but after finding out about his fees we (quickly) withdrew our bid.

The drawing, however, went without any glitches and you can watch the proof of it below.
